 Train journeys are always pleasant. A long journey. Have fun all the way. Can walk in a carriage. Eat food. Games can be played sitting down. Let's keep talking. Traveling by train is a pleasant experience. I have traveled by train twice in America. We drove from Seattle to Portland. We reached the railway station on time. We saw our train track and went there. We checked our ticket by showing it to the ticket inspector there. He confirmed the train coach and numbers for us. He bought our belongings and put them in the luggage compartment of the train. He said we can get off at our stop and buy them back. The ticket inspector outfit was very cute.  The railway station seems to have an aura. Train tracks are never boring to watch as they meet and diverge. On the way to the train, the graffiti painted on the walls was a feast for the eyes. A few children waved at us as the cart passed through the villages. I also waved to them. Having plants at home is beautiful. Brand new leaves. New buds, new flowers are all beautiful. Even a dead leaf is beautiful. If plants in a pot are beautiful, plants in the garden are even more beautiful. Being with different plants brings happiness. We have a variety of rose plants in our house. There is a marigold plant and an apple tree. There is also a green lawn. To keep the lawn green, it needs to be watered two to three times a week during summers.  Every year, as summer sets in, we start tending to the plants again. We'll be doing something with the plants like changing their soil, adding compost, and putting them in a sunny spot. Every year we buy a new plant. We will find a suitable place for the new plant and dig a hole for it and bury the entire root in the soil. Put new soil and water it. A week before my birthday, I start asking my parents about my birthday celebration. Since my birthday is in the winter, it is usually celebrated in the indoor arena and my younger brother's birthday is in the summer, so it is usually celebrated in the outdoor arena. Let's invite all the friends for the birthday celebration. Everyone will give gifts. Many times they are a new game. We will also give souvenirs to all birthday attendees. Since my birthday is indoors, we choose a new venue every year. We celebrated one year in a bouncing house. It had facilities for sliding and jumping. Another year we celebrated with dashing bumper cars. All friends enjoyed driving. We celebrated one year at the indoor soccer field. We all celebrated by playing football. We always celebrate my brother's birthday in some park. He likes to celebrate in the park. A get-together is when friends and family come together to enjoy a meal. We usually meet at each other's homes on weekends. Let's eat together. Let's enjoy playing group games. Sometimes we sit and watch movies together. Children we play as a group and adults as a group. It will be fun to meet everyone and play together. On the day of most Potluck events we sleep at their house and come home the next day. Many times they will make new dishes. Everyone will bring a dish. We call it kotaanj soru because everyone brings different food like sambar, one fries, and one rasam and eats it together. Sometimes they bring some food from restaurants. Generally, Potluck occurs only on days when one cannot go outside in winters. There will be a parade of food across the table. It is tempting to see all kinds of food.  It will be blissful to gather together and sit in a circle and talk and eat together. Delicious food like dosa, vada, chapati is served on the plate. The farmers' market happens during the summer near our house. At least once a year, we used to visit the farmers' market where farmers sell their freshly harvested farm produce like vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Many art stalls, food stalls, musical instruments, woolen produce like sweaters and shawls, and handicrafts can be found here. It feels like visiting a village. It is fascinating to walk around the market. Farmers and artisans make the rare side of their vehicles like a shop, and at the end of the day, they gather their stuff, load it in their vehicles, and leave the place. There will be a large number of temporary tenants in this farmers' market. We usually buy from regular stores, but buying directly from the farmers is an enjoyable experience. The vegetables and fruits that we buy from big departmental stores would reach the stores imprisoned in boxes and reach us a few days later. I have been on numerous boat rides, experiencing a variety of boats. Typically, we embark on boat rides exclusively during the summer months. My favorite type of boat to ride is the paddle boat, as it is comfortable to sit and ride, much like a bicycle. We usually take an hour-long ride on the lake, traveling from one side of the bank to the other. The gentle waves caused by the ripples in the water, combined with the mild breeze and our conversations make this ride intriguing. Although I have always been keen to try surfing, I recognize that I need to mature a bit more to handle a surfboard and surfing. Until then, I will stick to my paddle boat.  I have attempted to row a boat in the past, but rowing a boat requires significant muscle strength. Lifting the oars requires a great deal of energy, and pushing against the current will quickly tire me out. As winter sets in I wait for the snow day. Snow drifting is beautiful. It floats in the air and slowly sways to and fro. Sometimes it falls like rain fast and hard. As the snow falls, the ground gradually turns into a white film. The roof of the house, the branches of the tree, the road, the grass everywhere becomes white. While driving on a snowy day, the snow falling on the windshield is a beautiful sight to behold. It's thrilling to see the snow come back and stick to the windshield again and again as the windshield wipers push the snow away. The wind is full of snow and you can see it as dots everywhere you look. Traveling when it snows is a very different experience.  When the snow falls and all the roads are closed, we go make snow toys. Let's pile the snow and bring it to a place and make a big round head, nose with carrots and hollow eyes to make a snowman. Let's have fun. Collecting all that snow will freeze your hands. There is a place called Escape Room! It’s a game place, where we get locked into a room, we need to solve a puzzle to come out of the room or wait for the timeout. It is a sequence of rooms, we will be given a puzzle to escape the current room and proceed to the next one. We must cross multiple rooms, using the clues found in each one, and finally come out of the maze. This is not video or digital, the rooms are all properly built and real. Ever since I heard about this Escape Room, I wanted to visit it. My father said winder or rainy day is the good time to visit this place. I was eagerly waiting to go to this mystery chamber. Our friends and family decided to go together, and I liked the outing because we children could chat and plan the day while traveling in one car. Halloween festival is one of my favorite festivals. It is celebrated on October 31 st every year. We get different types of candies and get to wear Halloween costumes. Along with friends in the same neighborhood, we go around for 'trick or treat' to collect more and more toffees and chocolates. Halloween is a interesting festival, and I eagerly await its celebration every year. Each year, we buy big pumpkins, and all family members join in sculpt. The pumpkins turn into faces. We complete with facial features like eyes, nose, and lips. It is exciting to see the finished face of the pumpkin lantern, and we feel happy to see the carved pumpkin with its lighting arrangement. Alongside the pumpkin, we also keep Halloween figurines, and the look of Halloween engulfs the whole front yard.   Every year, I buy a new dress for Halloween. Children's Essays School Bus I am always fascinated by traveling on my school bus. My school buses are in yellow and orange colors. These buses run on many different routes. Each route has a color’s name. These color codes denote the routes. Each route is named after a color. My route is Red route. Each route has multiple stops, and the bus would stop in each stop to pick up students and reach the school.  Either my dad or mom would bring me to the bus stop. All of us students would wait and stand in a queue. The school bus would be punctual and come at the right time. Once the bus comes, we would all board silently one by one and sit, if my seat is near the window, I wave at my parents. In summer times, grandparents are seen at the bus stops.
