Train

Train journeys are always pleasant. A long journey. Have fun all the way. Can walk in a carriage. Eat food. Games can be played sitting down. Let's keep talking. Traveling by train is a pleasant experience.

I have traveled by train twice in America. We drove from Seattle to Portland. We reached the railway station on time. We saw our train track and went there. We checked our ticket by showing it to the ticket inspector there. He confirmed the train coach and numbers for us. He bought our belongings and put them in the luggage compartment of the train. He said we can get off at our stop and buy them back. The ticket inspector outfit was very cute.

The railway station seems to have an aura. Train tracks are never boring to watch as they meet and diverge. On the way to the train, the graffiti painted on the walls was a feast for the eyes. A few children waved at us as the cart passed through the villages. I also waved to them. I don't know if they know that.

One train we took had a large window box (observation car). In that box we can have full fun like sky and field. Traveling in that box was a new experience. There was also a restaurant box. We can go there and get the food we need and sit there and eat. Hot tea and coffee were also available.

As the train went to each town, the name and details of that town came on the loudspeaker. People were getting on and off at every stop. Each railway station was different. It made the trip even more interesting.

I like Indian train travel better than American train travel. I have gone to sleep at night several times. You can stretch your legs and go. The train ride will be a new experience with the creaking of the carriage, the hum of the cooing, the whirring of the fan. They sell food items inside the cart. At every train station they sell food through the window.

You can stand near the door of the train compartment and have fun facing the rushing wind. But traveling like that is very dangerous so always, I travel standing near the door only when my father and mother are with me.

Train journeys become more interesting depending on the route we take, be it a train through a mountain pass, a train near the sea, a train into a cave. There are also trains that travel several days from one million to another million in the United States. There are many train lines from Seattle to Los Angeles, Chicago to Seattle, San Francis, Los Angeles, Grand Canyon. These routes are scenic routes and it is a pleasant experience to watch them while sitting on the train.

Traveling by trains offers many new experiences. Helps to travel in the city. There are many types of vehicles like mono rail, metro train, road trams. They help to move quickly from one place to another in the city.

A number of towns have monorail trains running on a single track instead of the usual two tracks. They keep coming and going from one place to another. Usually it's like going over a high bridge. I have traveled this monorail in Seattle. We escaped the traffic congestion of the city by traveling in this shorter distance.

City buses make it easy to move from one place to another within the city. These trains are very helpful in arriving on time without traffic congestion. We have traveled in this type of train many times. Our focus is on the destination rather than the journey. So never cared much about this train.

The trams that weave through the road traffic are interesting. There will be only two or three boxes of these. It's like a train, but it runs like fun. Simple bell ringing. Few seats. The tram is very interesting as a road in its own right. I love traveling in it.
